As the 4^th generation of his family to enter into the coffee business, Jason Richter serves as Empire Coffee Co. Inc. and Waterfront Roasters' Director of Online Sales and Marketing. With a decade long background in feature film marketing, Jason spent the first 10 years after graduating from Syracuse University in Los Angeles building a portfolio of editorial work in the theatrical advertising arena. He was responsible for editing and producing numerous film trailers, promos and TV spots for many of the major film studios.

In 2012 an opportunity arose at Empire Coffee / Waterfront Roasters that allowed Jason to not only work with his father, Robert Richter (Owner), but also utilize his skills in marketing and advertising to develop their new Waterfront Roasters retail and wholesale brand. With a dedication toward quality, consistency and brand development, Jason is excited for what the future holds at his new post.

Empire Coffee / Waterfront Roasters sources, roasts, grinds and packages superior coffees for some of the largest coffee distributors in the country. Waterfront Roasters, a specialty coffee division of Empire Coffee, provides single origin, blended and dessert coffees directly to retail and wholesale customers. The goal of Waterfront Roasters is to perfect the art of roasting unique and exciting coffees in small batches. By doing this each coffee presents its most favorable characteristics. Waterfront Roasters is different from many other specialty coffee roasters because of its access to the vast resources available through its parent company, Empire Coffee.

Waterfront Roasters Distributors is the distribution and equipment arm of Waterfront Roasters and services the Fairfield County, Connecticut and Westchester County, NY areas. Waterfront Roasters Distributors also provides service to all equipment and also offers a full line of allied products to country clubs, restaurants, hotels, markets and specialty coffee shops among others.
